I just turned on my Mac Book and the fan started making a very loud grinding. I really don't want to take it in. Taking out the hard drive is a real PITA! You have to completely take apart the laptop! Not cool!

It's freaking humid out right now!

On Sunday, July 26th, I took my brother and sister to the Mayhem Festival in IL. That concert was awesome because it was just like Ozzfest used to be, but with death and black metal! It was glorious. The tickets I pre-orded were pit tickets and the pit was right in front of the stage. So all three of us were right up in front for Slayer. It's so much better at a venue of about 30,000 people and being right up in front!

Manson was ok, he's not as good as he was when I first saw him at Ozzfest in 2001. I also saw Cannibal Corpse, fscking hardcore! :D

I must say, driving down to Chicago really sucked because there's a lot of construction. On the way home, we stopped off at White Castle. Sooo good. I really wish a White Castle would open up closer to home than in Kenosha.

Oh! Slayer did announce that they will be releasing their new CD, 'World Painted Blood' due out in September. It was originally scheduled to be released on July 8th. I already heard the first single off the album, "Hate Worldwide" it sounds like their old stuff. I'm so excited.

In other news, Lamb of God will be at the Eagles Ball Room November 6th with GWAR. FSCKYA!

Last night I ended up going to the store to pick up some food. I came back and was reading up on how to set up suPHP on a web server. I couldn't get it to work for some reason even though I defined multiple paths in which the module didn't like.

I think apache on my local machine is finally fixed. There's no more SIGSEGV (11) -- segmentation violation. I don't know why there were invalid memory access calls, but it appears to have been fixed in apache-2.2.11-r2. So now I can use my main Linux Box for web devel again. Go me!

I ended up watching Ghost Adventures last night. That show is hilarious. The "cases" that the "team" investigates are so cliche. It always has to do with some sort of evil spirit. This time it was a witch who ate children. Seriously? Witches don't eat children. I eat children, but I'm not a witch. Also the guys are 'Bros' and they think they are all that taunting what they can't see. What do they think they can do if there is in fact a real entity? Punch it in the face? When something answers back they scream like little girls. That show seriously amuses me.

I also played some Final Fantasy 5, walked around trying to gain experience and working on my jobs. Finally I started season 3 of X-Files. I watched two episodes from season 3 before passing out.

This morning I woke up around 830, worked out, made myself scrambled eggs for breakfast, and did some reading. I think the eggs I made this morning were better than the ones I get at the diner I go to, which I haven't been to since I got my table.

Tonight my sister is having a party at the Safe House in Milwaukee. I will be attending and then tomorrow is the Mayhem festival in chicago. Fscking SLAYER & Manson. w00t!

As far as the rest of the day is concerned, I'm going to clean out my closet and put some stuff in storage. I should also do some laundry as I won't be able to do any tomorrow on the account that I'll be at a concert all day.

I'm going to be staying in this apartment for another year. It's nice, a little expensive, but I can afford it. It's like living in a hotel!

Ever since I got my table it's like I'm no longer living in my room at my parents house. I suppose it being just me really helps.

I guess there's really no point to this entry. I just felt like saying I'm happy basically. I have a home, and it finally feels like a home. I'm not like "Where do I want to move now?" I don't really want to live with anyone to be honest. It's just me, the cat, my computers and my crazy ideas.

If I didn't have Miss Kitty Pants, I would go crazy. I think she's the most wonderful cat. There's nothing like coming home and having her waiting for you at the door. Then as soon as you're in she stands on her hind legs and starts pawing at you. Very rarely is she not sleeping next to or on me. Watching TV is awesome because we both end up falling asleep on the couch. I wish someone was there to take pictures.

It's only 7, and I'm already dozing off. I was going to go to Taylor's and have a Martini then come home and do some work. It's looking more like I'll just go to bed or something. We'll see what really happens though.

This past weekend I left work early on Friday and treated myself to some Pizza Sticks. I ended up watching "Dead Like Me" for a few hours before passing out on the couch around 3am.

I woke up Saturday morning not feeling too well. I ended up eating probably half a pound of cheese and my tummy was not happy! I wanted to get a head start on doing some research on Quartz Crystals, but that was pushed back a few hours due to my unwise decision. I ended up getting a crash course in Chemistry trying to understand what I was reading.

After my reading I went to the Magick Shop to pick up some incense. When I came back I ended up doing some writing, working on a Drupal Module and finished off the knight playing Final Fantasy V until 5am.

It was just me and the cat, then I had to work today and wasn't very pleased with having social interaction.

I'm becoming a hermit but at least I'll be a smart one.

Me: *looks through peep hole, and sees a girl*
Door: *handle jiggles*
Me: WTF?! Wrong apartment

Me: *Looks through peep hole again and sees the woman push the kid away in a shopping cart*

I just got back from a splendid little cafe that played cheesy goth music and had free wifi.

Spent most of the day running around cemeteries taking pictures.

I think I've gotten more sun in the past couple of days than in the last two years.

WHEEEE!

It's almost 3! I'm going to be one crabby person tomorrow.

Went to the local Diner, did some reading which was awesome. Met up with Tony for drinks.

Came home was going to go to bed, but then I decided to do a little work. In an hour I knocked out more stuff on my list than I did all day.

I fscking RULE!

This is cool. I'm updating my journal from my black berry. This can't be good. :)

I got home about an hour and a half ago after doing a bunch of laundry. I washed my bedding and every time I put my bed sheets back on my bed Miss Kitty Pants always has to play with the sheets. It's the cutest thing. Then she has to be the first to lay on a clean bed.

I just threw in X-Files, I plan on watching all the episodes over again. Hopefully Gizmo will enjoy X-Files as much as she enjoys watching Forensics Files and The First 48.

This week is going to be crazy. I'd like to get some things ready or done before I leave for New Orleans next week.

One thing I definitely like to do is get my ipod loaded up with all my music so I have something to listen to when I'm driving down to New Orleans with my friends. Also, I'll be able to talk to people on AIM, ICQ, MSN, and GTalk on my Black Berry *dances*

The other thing I want to do is fix my website. For some reason I can not modify a Blog Node type and change the status from "Published" to "Unpublished." When I create a new node, it defaults to publish. What's weird is that I can change the status field for the node from 1 (published) to 0. Then I can log into the back end and change the status from "Unpublished" to "Published" with no problems. It's when I go from "Published" to "Unpublish" is when I have an issue. This issue persists even logged in as the admin (UID of 1) which means anything should go with out question.

I'm still using Drupal 6.10, so I'm hoping that upgrading to 6.12 will solve the issue. I have no crazy modules that affect workflow. The other issue that I'm having is that the WYSIWYG editor, FCKEditor, does not show for my user but it will show for the admin.

Today I went to the Verizon Store to see if I could get my Storm replaced. Since this store is real strict on it's policies I was expecting to give them my phone and wait a month for a new one. They were able to return it and just give me a new one.

GO ME!

Also, On this day last year I became the proud owner of a Mac. My little baby is 1 year old!

Ok so I'm doing this... errr... I don't know what it could be considered. So I'm just going to call it a writing. It's pretty much done, except for one part. In an effort to make it more universal you could say, I need to change one more thing.

I'm looking for something to call someone, but it has to begin with "Deceiving" however, I don't know how to follow it up.

Any ideas?

This evening I ended up hitting up the local diner, George Webb's to do some creative stuff. I figured I'd do it tonight because I wasn't sure if I'd have time tomorrow to do any seeing as I'm going to Madison to visit my friend Sandye.

I spent an hour working on a writing and I think I'm pretty much done I just have to find a different word for something in order to make it more generic.

After that I did some playing around in photoshop. I ended up coming home and wanted to do some more photoshop on my 40" LCD TV because I thought it would look better. It's kinda hard to work on that right now because the cat wants to play and I have to move pretty close to the TV to see exactly what I'm doing.

I'm looking for an App for my Black Berry so I can log on to Multiple accounts with one program. Unfortunately WebMessenger just plain sucks, and Beejive has not been ported over to the Storm yet. I tried using something called IM+ which costs $40, so I tried the demo. It had a few quarks that I didn't like, but it was better than running an app for ICQ, AIM, and Gtalk. Then it caused my phone to reboot and I said fsck that! Good thing I didn't buy it or else I would have been very upset.

Just for grins I did some googling for information on Application Development for Black Berries. They are all done in Java which is kinda surprising, but at the same time not. I just remember Java being so slow back in the day.. When I say back in the day I mean 1998. The speed of Java started picking up around 2002.

Alright, I'm a mission today. I will find a kitchen table! I'm sick of eating my dinner on the couch or at my desk.

I'm not looking for anything fancy, but then again I'm not looking for anything that's a piece of crap either.

Once I get a table, I can do my reading and writing on it and it will make me very excited. WHEEEE!!!!!!

Woot! last night I finally got me my new phone. I now have a black berry storm. It's hawt and I can chat with people who are on AIM or gtalk. I prefer gtalk over AIM.

I'm doing some hardcore cleaning today. So far I've got all the misc papers and crap picked up, did a little re-arranging, organized my desk, vacuumed, and put the laundry away.

I still have to fix the light in the bathroom, clean the bathroom, then clean the kitchen and wash the bed sheets.

As for tonight, I'm not really sure what's going on tonight. I don't know if I want to go to the diner and hang out reading or if I should play some video games. I'd def do something a little more, but, I don't have a lot of money right now.

My wireless is not working very well and a skunk just sprayed right in front of my apartment. This stinks!

Today, I just don't feel like talking to anyone. I think I'm going to leave work now and go play in a field. It's very nice out today. Yeah, that's what I'll do. That's how I roll!
